Inspiring Creative Development in Tomorrow's Leaders

"A true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination."
-Albert Einstein

Creativity is not reserved only for artists. Great thinkers like Einstein recognized the need for creative minds in our world to create new ideas and new solutions to problems that cannot be reached by logic alone. Curiosity, passion, courage, intuition, play, motivation, challenging assumptions and making connections - these are all traits associated with highly creative people.

At young ages, people are more impressionable than ever. Children learn literacy, math, writing, and history in school. However, the courses that are meant to develop creativity are being cut from schools: music, drama, art. How are children supposed to "think outside the box" without being taught how?

As an illustrator from Ringling College of Art and Design with a passion to educate and foster children, I hope to help fill the gaps in creative development that schools are overlooking. I offer art lessons and creative development tutoring to children ages 2 to 18, focusing on open-ended arts and crafts for younger children and art training for older children who are interested in a future in the visual arts.
